Who we are

SAMA Tradeway is a sourcing and export company headquartered in Yiwu, China. This notice explains how we handle personal data when you use this website, send a request or use the client portal.

What we collect

• Contact details: your name, company, country and email address.
• Request details: product descriptions, photos, links, quantities, destinations and dates you give us.
• Portal activity: requests, approvals, releases and the documents attached to your orders.
• Technical data needed to run and protect the service, such as your IP address for spam protection and security logs.

Why we use it

• To reply to your request and prepare quote options.
• To provide the client portal and manage your orders, inspections and shipments.
• To protect the service against spam and abuse.
• To meet legal obligations, such as keeping export and accounting records.

Legal bases

Where data protection law such as the GDPR applies, we rely on taking steps at your request before a contract and on performing that contract, on our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure, and on legal obligations.

Who processes data for us

• Supabase: database, file storage and sign-in, hosted in the European Union.
• Vercel: hosting of this website and the portal.
• Resend: delivery of emails such as sign-in links and order updates.
• Cloudflare: spam protection on the request form.

Our team in China works on your requests and orders, which means your data is accessed from outside the European Economic Area. The safeguards for these transfers are being confirmed as part of this review.

How long we keep it

• Requests that are never confirmed by email are deleted after 7 days.
• Account and order records are kept while your account is active, and afterwards for as long as the law requires.

Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. The portal uses a cookie to keep you signed in. The request form saves a draft in your browser's local storage; it stays on your device until you send the request.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive a copy of it. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
